Hmmmm... if I had to choose between logic and emotion I would go with logic. I don't like what I am when running on pure emotion. Then again, pure logic would mean no passion behind belief. Tricky.
Also, what I see when logic and emotion mix is the general norm. However, you can have too much of a good thing. Like what happened in class yesterday, emotion and logic overload turned into a nightmare.
I see the emotion/logic struggle every day. It's in my relationships, my work, and my decisions. That's one reason that I know the "third mechanism" exists. If I have solid reasons to make a certain decision, and my emotions happen to agree with my logic, then why would I choose the other road? Is is stupidity, defiance or is it truly some other factor? I agree, there must be another method. I've no idea what you'd call it...
And you seem MUCH happier compared to the beginning of the semester. Ever since you started the utopia unit actually. From the video, it looks like your wish is coming true...I didn't see any dark circles. And you post more often. Not a bad thing, just an observation.
